Tapping for V-Slot 40 x 40mm Extrusions
Tapping is the process of using a tool called a tap to create threads inside a hole by carving precise grooves. This enables screws or bolts to securely attach to the ends of the extrusion.
Our extrusions come standard with an M5x0.8mm 10mm deep tap, If you’re opting to cut the extrusion, you may benefit from our optional tapping service. To use this, please leave a note in the order notes stating your required cuts and if you need tapping, we will reach out.
